Return-It Victoria (Recycling Program)

Fishers Timber and Hardware is pleased to be a Return-It Victoria Recycling Centre location:

One of our aims is to leave the world better for then next generation than the last, and taking on the Return-It depot locally in South Gippsland was a no-brainer for us.

We operate a drop off depot and small kiosk.

The best and quickest thing to do is to

1. Ensure you have the app already setup on your phone. This allows you to input your banking details and allows Return-It Victoria to pay you directly for the return of items. The app logo looks like the one below:

2. Count your items into their categories; Aluminium Cans, Glass Bottles, PET Bottles, HDPE Bottles, Steel Cans and Liquid Paper Cardboard. These are the categories that are currently collected. If you are unsure about an item, you can go to the CDS VIC app on your phone, scan the item which will show whether that particular barcode is accepted by Return-IT or not.

3. Attend Fishers Timber & Hardware yard at Korumburra South. The deposit scheme bins are located at the top of the yard, in the old mulch compound. If the bins are full, we happily have some bulky bags for you to continue to put items in. Please ensure only authorised items are brought, it costs us to dispose of items not meeting the category, and causes issues in the processing of the recycled items if it goes into the system.

4. Come down to the office and one of our Staff will log onto the system, enter the quantities, put either the C# or Phone Number into the system, and print out a docket showing what you have delivered. Usually within 24 - 48 hours deposits are made into your bank account.
